Houston and Butler get second-team All-American honors

Georgia linebacker Justin Houston and punter Drew Butler were each named second-team All-Americans by the Associated Press on Tuesday.

It was the latest honor for Houston, who was also a first-team All-SEC pick by the AP, and a first-team All-American pick by the Football Writers Association of America.

Butler was also a second-team All-SEC pick. So how are you second-team in your league, but also second-team nationally? Because the first-teamer on both lists is Florida's Chas Henry.

Butler was a first-team AP pick last year.

The All-American panel consisted of 16 writers from across the country, who each submitted a first and second team.
